Bruce Hooley's combination of experience and achievement is rare among Ohio sports journalists.
An award-winning reporter at The Plain Dealer in Cleveland, Bruce transitioned into radio and television in 2005 and has since become a recognizable and credible voice on issues that matter most to Ohio sports fans.
Bruce was a top-rated sports talk host in Columbus on 97.1 The Fan from 2005-2010, hosting afternoon drive and leading in market share not just among the coveted male 25-54 demographic, but also among adults in that category.
In 2010, Bruce accepted an offer to host afternoon drive on ESPN 850 WKNR and be a lead columnist on ESPNCleveland.com.
He combined that role in 2014 with hosting his own state-wide sports commentary show, #Hooley, on Spectrum Cable Sports Channel (311/1311 HD).
Bruce has authored two books on Ohio State athletics and is also the co-author of, Thats Why I'm Here: The Chris and Stephanie Spielman Story.
